Pheasant Tower

  Geared toward an afternoon of fellowship and comradery, this offers the perfect atmosphere for corporate retreats as well as an alternative for the rain soaked traveler.  We have entertained many clients during Holiday seasons as well as family groups for birthday celebrations. We first introduced this as an alternative for our guest flying in from great distances. Soaking wet, boggy weather is not conducive to great quail hunting. However if you're already here we don't want  you to have to sit idle.

Don't let a little weather interfere with your stay at Live Oak Plantation. Join us at the pheasant tower where hunters are challenged by these high flying and elusive birds. Hunters are kept dry and out of the elements while these birds fly just as hard and fast as if were a bluebird day. The pheasant tower is best suited for ten hunters. There will be 100 birds released, and hunters will rotate through the ten stands. Arrangements can be made for more than ten shooters and the number of birds released can be altered as well, simply let us know  what your exact wishes are.
