The Plantation is nestled among 3000 acres of Georgia pines and majestic live oaks.  Lavishly rustic accommodations, casual elegant southern dining, cordial staff, and traditional southern quail hunts are some of the features that keep our guests returning. Live Oak Plantation is the sporting destination for individuals, groups and families.


With overnight accommodations for up to 12 guests, visitors can choose between main lodge and cabin.

Nowhere in America is leisure time more valued or hospitality extended more graciously - than in the Deep South. And, while the pace of everyday life is far quicker now than in times past, there is still a place where traditions endure and tensions slide away.  It is Live Oak Plantation, an exclusive sporting retreat sheltered in the tall pine woods and wild wiregrass fields of South Georgia.

 

Bobwhite quail are very much at home on this private 3000 acre reserve. and our professional hunting guides and champion bred bird dogs will take you right to the action. You can also shoot for the greens on our private executive golf course, a professional-designed golf course, a professional-designed par 34 layout with just enough sand and water to test your handicap level.  Or cast a line into one of our lakes and prepare for a big fight from a large-mouth bass.

 

There are accommodations for just 12 guests here.  And what accommodations they are with handsome antique furnishings in the main lodge.
