History

Live Oak Plantation began in the late 1980's.  The main lodge was completed in 1988 and soon after, the cabin was built to accommodate more guests.

Ownership changed in 1991 and many improvements were made to the lodges and grounds, including the addition of an executive style Par 34 golf course.

In October of 2002, Jim and Gail Gresham purchased Live Oak.  It is their desire that Live Oak Plantation continues its reputation as the South's Premier Hunting Destination.
