Fishing

Fish for Large Mouth Bass or Bream in any of our 9 trophy managed ponds (ranging from ¼ acre to over 100 acres).  All bass fishing is catch/release from comfortably prepared boats.  Bream can be prepared for dinner that night!  Your experienced guides know where the trophies hide, and how to preserve the memory.  Bring your equipment or use ours ($50 per day).
Our ponds tend to be loaded with large fish and heavy structure.  We recommend the following tackle:
For Bass:

  • Medium/Heavy rods and reels (casting or spinning).
  • 12 to 20 pound test fishing line.
  • Top water lures, soft plastics, small shallow crank baits, surface “Johnson” style spoons with trailer.
  • Camera, hat, thumb protection.

For Bream:
  • Cane pole, ultra-light rod/reel, or Fly Rod
  • Worms, crickets, or surface flies
  • Camera
  • Big appetite – let us prepare them for you that night!

*Designated Family Dates – October 28 & 29; November 25, & 26; December 30 & 31.

Professionally managed by marine biologists, each lake boasts healthy populations of fish. Largemouth bass in excess of 10 pounds and bream in excess of 1 pound are common occurrences. Hard core anglers and family groups will each enjoy being guided by plantation staff who designed, built and maintain this outstanding fishery. If conditions are right, you might consider pursuing the rare red eye or suwannee bass that are residents in the stretches of the Little River that border the Plantation property.

**Our guides and staff appreciate your gratuities, and work hard to make sure that you receive the level of service you desire.
